Job description, responsibilities and duties

AT&T seeks a networking technician. To train for and become part of a team building network solutions for Data and LAN environments based upon our customer needs. Primarily supporting the IBM IGA environment

The role requires you have a broad knowledge of networking technologies and architectures.

A comprehensive package of in-house training and job shadowing ensures you can move into the new role and you are capable to support the team and our customers in AT&T products and processes.

Roles and Responsibilities:
• Own and develop and deliver High level technical Solutions for our customer IBM under the AT&T NMS project (New Managed Services), Ensure the response is responded to optimizing at a high level the best design and architecture methods and the response is cost effective and accurate and each response is completed in the best time effective manner.
• Responsible for interpreting a customer’s needs and scope and take part in definition/clarification meetings and participate in scope clarification meetings if required.
• Build a high-level design response using a template format, to cover a range of networking offerings covering up to date LAN technologies and services such as switches and switching, routers, firewalls, load balancers, network virtualization the response maybe based upon multi-vendor environment, services and technologies
• Work as a part of a team of similar peers

Key Competencies and Skills:
• Experience in enterprise network technical solutions involving products such as Cisco, Checkpoint, Juniper,
• Knowledge of up to the moment networking technology, and services.
• Switching, routers, load balancing, firewalls.
• Advanced English skills (verbal and written).

Education and Qualifications:
•, Broad depth of networking technologies
• The role would suit a person from the networking support teams
• Cisco Certification preferred: CCNA/CCNP/CCDA

• Working Hours: EMEA - Central European Time (9AM-5PM), no out of hours working

• Internal training on process and role engagement will be given as well as job shadowing and mentoring
Salary for Slovakia: from 1760 € brutto per month. Actual salary is likely to be higher based on skills, knowledge and experience.
