Pricing Specialist AT&T

The Pricing Specialist will provide support to AT&T pricing and sales teams by obtaining pricing of externally provided telecommunication services, confirming service availability, and processing requests for feasibility. This position will also support in negotiating and optimizing pricing whilst also driving new initiatives/process improvements.

Roles and Responsibilities:
The specialists’ main functions are to:
• Drive vendors to respond to pricing requests
• Work both internally and externally to understand requirements and resolve issues to ensure quotes are accurate and delivered in timely manner
• Review the process and find opportunities to drive improvements in process and turnaround of quotes

Key Competencies and Skills:
• Detail oriented (high level of accuracy and detail to ensure the high volume of quotes handled each day are correct)
• Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines whilst delivering a high quality of results
• Appreciation of telecoms terminology knowledge & high-level understanding of Telco market to be able to discuss requests with vendors across the globe
• Microsoft Office Application suite user skills (Outlook, Access, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Ability to work with people in a team environment and offer flexibility to support at times of high volume

Education and Qualifications:
• University degree is an advantage, but not mandatory (student applicants will be considered too)
• Written and spoken English
• Another language skill may be an advantage – (Spanish / Portuguese / French / Italian / German / Chinese / Japanese)
