Job description, responsibilities and duties

The incumbent will work with cutting edge technologies while documenting and streamlining AT&T business processes. Responsible for designing systems that provide internal and external customers a great experience as part of an Agile development team engaged in highly-visible projects within the GDA organization in AT&T.

Roles and Responsibilities:
The incumbent will be responsible for implementing the theories of user interface design, usability, accessibility, information architecture, and human-computer interaction. Must be able to understand the users and what they want, and effectively translate that into the products. Will work as an integral part of an agile team to develop and maintain web applications and scripting and to document and design unit tests. Will be required to adhere to the principles of scrum (honesty, openness, and transparency) in all work. May be required to collaborate with other teams within the organization to deliver product documentation.
Candidate must have experience with prototyping/comping in various tools such as Justinmind Prototyper, Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator (or equivalent), etc. Previous experience with web development required. The incumbent will be actively participating in actual HTML/CSS development.
Advantage is a working-level knowledge of development languages such as Python, HTML, JavaScript or Java, preferably using new frameworks like Django, Ember, React, etc. Familiarity with and experience in GIT, Linux and general LAMP stack arrangements.
Comprehensive understanding of English with strong written communication skill required.
