Information about the position
Job description, responsibilities and duties
- Controlling the operations to achieve optimum performance out of the production system and overall production planning targets
- Scheduling manufacturing equipment and assembly lines considering material and resources availability
- Synchronizing and prioritizing production orders to meet customer expectations
- Planning equipment and assembly lines capacity according to the supply plan
- Leading the operational SFM and ensuring that KPIs are monitored and targets achieved
- Optimizing the operations flow by defining and synchronizing the production tact-time and minimizing the WIP
- Optimizing the plan and bottleneck utilization and generating a feasible plan in order to reach OTD targets
- Ensuring the external fabrication by peaks, equipment break downs or other resources availability
- Ensuring the internal manufacturing chain (SM, AS, LG) and interfaces (QM, ENG, MP, OF, INDU)
- Planning the HC needed for the assembly and manufacturing lines
- Managing the planning team for scheduling of production orders and getting a balanced workload
- Reporting delays and On Time Delivery KPI
- Monitoring delays and analyzing root causes
- Informing the Customer Service Department about confirmation dates, being a focal point for communication with this department

- min. Bachelor degree, preferably in the Engineering field
- 3 - 5 years of experience at a Production Scheduling Department and/or in Production / Logistics Operations
- Deep industrial background with knowledge and experience in production planning processes and tools
- Experience with working in complex matrix organizations
- Understanding of Value Stream Mapping and LEAN tools
- Familiar with SAP modules PP and MM
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Fluent knowledge of English and Slovak language
- Excellent planning and organizational skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good at math and statistics
- Ability to multi-task and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- 3 - 5 years of experience at a Production Scheduling Department and/or in Production / Logistics Operations
