Information about the position

Job description, responsibilities and duties

- Implementing and continuously improving a quality management system and assuring ISO9001 and other applicable standards compliance and certification
- Operating and implementing supply chain organization in collaboration with SCQ-Zone Quality to ensure compliance to quality requirements (esp. incoming quality control) and continuous improvement of the QMS
- Containing supply chain quality issues on appropriate level, driving implementation of solutions and installing 5 quality loops (esp. sample tests for new components)
- Being responsible for internal audits: executing and documenting / coordinating corrective actions
- Having responsibility for external audits: executing and documenting / coordinating corrective actions (SQA / SCA)
- Setting up and maintaining KPIs in accordance to global guideline
Quality improvement and process management:
- Leading claim reduction, quality cost improvement programs, monitoring non-conformance cost
- Communicating field issues to production, coordinating corrective actions and monitoring the cycle time
- Reviewing industrialization processes in collaboration with group functions
Shop floor execution:
- Ensuring Loop 1 to 5 execution, process and compliance
- Executing Q-stops effective and relentless on all levels with direct impact, based on escalation rules (liaise with Plant Manager)
- Inspecting samples of in-house manufactures / assembled components
- Documenting quality and traceability related data in corresponding data bases
- Administrating, testing and maintaining measuring equipment
- Reviewing supplier development and optimization programs
- Leading interdisciplinary teams
- Executing cross functional supplier workshops to improve quality and decrease costs
- Assessing suppliers, performing audits and supporting vendor scoring process

Professional profile:
- University education with a higher degree in engineering or similar education
- 3 years of experience within supply chain quality management or on a Head of Production position in industrial environment
- Experience with project management and quality project management (spsp, 8d, cause-and-effect, pareto, etc.)
- Knowledge in the field of quality methods and industrialization
- Advanced level excellence in leadership
- PC skills (MS Office, Internet, MS Notes), advanced level in Excel-tool to conduct fact based quality data mining
- Fluent knowledge of English language (German language is advantage)
