Probe C++ Software Developer
Bratislava/ Slovak republic OR Prague, Czech Republic
We are currently looking for a boost to our Probe team in Czech Republic. The team in Prague is part of an international Development team and is ready to welcome an experienced C ++ Developer. This person will be in charge of the whole lifecycle of assigned modules of our software solution. The solution (MasterClaw) is used by telecom operators around the globe for network monitoring; enhanced with data analytics and machine learning tools it grants unparalleled visibility of the network data flow. The team is working on the probes responsible for proper data collection and they are programing mainly in C, C++, C++ STL and Unix shell under Linux; use source code repositories SVN, Git; libraries like STL, boost. They utilize knowledge of multithreading, multi-processes, design patterns paradigms and memory management. The team is working under Linux and our new colleague will need to have knowledge on system call interface, performance tuning, debugging, troubleshooting and installation; as well as networking knowledge TCP/IP. On the top of that we generally use also other bits and pieces of different technologies as per the overall software clarity, function and continuous improvement, so other skills and experiences are welcome.
Main tasks:
• Preparing analysis and design documentation of required features and functionality.
• In cooperation develop, integrate, test, release and correct software modules, taking care of the evolution of the module in conformance with architectural requirements, performance assessments and required standards of coding, testing and documentation.
• Participate and contribute to the development process, such as design meetings, agile stand-up briefings, post-implementation reviews, hand-over sessions to other departments and internal training.
• Write, correct and update technical documentation pertaining the design and testing procedures.
• Working on related issues – fixing, providing mitigations / workarounds.
