Information about the position
Job description, responsibilities and duties
• Independent role in engineering for automation equipment, drives systems and instrumentation
• Creation of customer-specific automation concepts
• Software development with SIMATIC S7, WIN-CC
• Maintenance and optimization of existing solutions as well as the development of new, innovative solutions for the technical and economic improvement of systems and processes
• Commissioning and startup of our systems as well as training and instruction of our international customers on job sites
• Duration of stay on construction sites approx. 3 to 5 months per project. Average job site duration approx. 50 - 60% per year.

• Completed technical education (college or university) in the field of electrical engineering, automation or mechatronic
• At least 3 years of practical experience in automation technology, process instrumentation and / or drive technology are necessary, preferably in the field of cold rolling and / or finishing plants
• Experience of programming Siemens S7 (400/1500), TIA, WinCC
• Knowledge of drive technology and drives systems (SINAMICS S120)
• Knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic control systems

• Team player, strong communication skills and solution-oriented way of working
• Customer orientation, independent, structured way of working and analytical approach
• Good English skills spoken and written (B2) required, German and other language skills are beneficial
