Sr Program Manager, Physical Stores & Online Grocery PanEU

Job summary
Amazon is looking for a Senior Program Manager to join a global team supporting Amazon’s expansion into Physical Stores and Online Grocery. This role will own building operational support for PanEU expansion in coordination with local Business Partner, Supply Chain Operations, Finance and Service Center teams in coordination with WW Physical Stores and Online Grocery program. These are nascent programs and require someone who can drive vision, clarity, simplification and impact as our footprint grows.

Ideal candidate is comfortable with building strategy from ambiguity, testing and learning. They must have strong attention to detail, interpersonal and communication skills and are motivated by a fast-paced, dynamic environment. The candidate thrives on end-to-end ownership of programs, is able to energize others with their vision, and delivery of results through individual contributions as well as through influencing and leading others.

The candidate must be able to:
· Work cross-functionally and across geographies with stakeholders at all levels to support large-scale programs and initiatives.
· Lead others to drive ongoing program improvement projects based on process performance data, key metrics and customer anecdotes.
· Rapidly shift and adapt to different tasks that vary between complex analyses, hands-on projects, and program management.
· Take accountability, effectively remove barriers, and escalate issues that will negatively impact meeting program goals and deliverables.
· Demonstrate advanced analytical skills and the ability to get into the details, while also seeing and understanding the big picture.
· Operate with significant autonomy to define goals and deliver results.
· Identify and tackle intrinsically hard problems (e.g. ambiguous, with little to no existing structure, have significant business risk and/or potential for significant impact), and resolve issues by utilizing strong influencing skills.

Areas of responsibility:
· Work cross functionally with Business and Operations teams to implement processes and controls to support procure-to-pay solutions for Physical Stores and Online Grocery across PanEU.
· Ensure regional PanEU regulations are addressed in Accounts Payable global technical solutions.
· Own PanEU Accounts Payable Physical Stores and Online Grocery strategic annual and 3-year planning; align PanEU with WW 3-year vision and annual tactical plans to reach north star goals.
· Through direct and indirect reports, as well as, your own individual contributions lead efforts to deliver on annual operational, controllership and customer experience goals.
· Partner with regional and global Support Centers to ensure processes are in place to serve our internal and external customers while maintaining an extremely high bar for financial and operational controls.
· Dive deep into Physical Stores and Online Grocery procure-to-pay processes; identify opportunities for process improvements, lead improvement initiatives and deliver measurable impacts to key operations and customer experience metrics.
· Innovate on a global scale to solve challenging problems with technology for our Operations teams and customers; build compelling business cases based on data analytics to influence investments in technical initiatives proposed.
· Write concise, logical and compelling narratives (6-page documents) for Sr Leaders that present strategy and execution of program responsibilities outlined above.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
· Bachelor’s degree in Operations, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or other technical field.
· Demonstrable experience in program management working cross functionally to deliver projects.
· Demonstrable experience with financial/business analysis and Excel
· Strong organizational skills with demonstrated ability to simultaneously manage multiple high-complexity initiatives and strategic planning.
· Proven ability to identify, analyze, and solve ambiguous problems, showing a track record of making business decisions using relevant data and insights.
· Ability to think both strategically and tactically; equally comfortable with long term planning and day to day progress tracking and execution.
· Ability to successfully influence stakeholders without formal authority, leading cross functional teams across geographies and business units.
· Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Base pay for this position starts from EUR 4,290 gross per month and salary depends on the skills and requirements. Company benefits apply subject to further terms, including annual membership in medical clinic, life insurance, retirement pension, meal voucher card.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
· MBA or Master’s Degree in Business, Science, Engineering or Technology
· Experience delivering procure-to-pay technical and/or operations solutions in the Grocery or Retail industry
· Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification
· Proven capability working with, presenting to and influencing Senior Executives
· Superior analytical and quantitative skills; ability to work with large, complex data sets and familiarity with statistics or other analytical techniques; experience with statistical packages (SAS, JMP or Minitab)
· Experience with SQL and / or data visualization tools (Tableau, PowerBI, QuickSight)
