Job summary
Do you want to become major contributor to the fast paced world of Global Accounts Payable and manage direct relationships with Amazon’s TOP vendors?

Sounds great. What will I be working on?
This role has three layers: root cause analyses and problem solving, communication, and process improvement.

You will act as a main point of contact for key Amazon vendors, with the goal to develop strong business relationships, create mutual trust and work on a project basis with key vendors to improve the cooperation on Accounts Payable side.
You will identify, analyze and resolve issues related primarily to Purchase Quantity Variance.
You will address any account related inquiries from vendors to ensure internal supply chain compliance.
You will have an opportunity to influence the processes impacting the vendor business relationships, to come up with new solutions which would be beneficial both to the business and to our vendors.
You will interact with internal stakeholders such as Retail, Vendor managers, Accounts Receivable, Fulfillment Centers' associates, Catalog specialists, and other internal stakeholders to resolve issues, understand the root-causes and propose improvements.

“The first 3 members of the POR team were hired in October 2012 in Bratislava and since then it has grown into a global team with locations in Seattle and Hyderabad.

“Working within the POR team means having a true Sherlock Holmes focus. The team dives deep into the shortages of their portfolio vendors and investigates the root causes. The team gains trust of our vendors thorough data analyses, deep research and communication on with important operations stakeholders from both Vendor and Amazon side. From Bratislava, the team directly supports German, French, Italian, Spanish and UK. The team has been built from many experienced people who are fully dedicated to solving problems, thinking outside of the box and coming up with new problem solving ideas." Base pay for this position starts from EUR 2,250 gross per month and salary depends on the skills and requirements. Company benefits apply subject to further terms, including annual membership in medical clinic, life insurance, retirement pension, meal voucher card.

Key job responsibilities
You will work with Assigned vendor portfolio to identify defects and then create an action plan to resolve those issues long term. You will do so by reconciling the outstanding amount, and then performing a route-cause analysis. You will the work with retail and the vendors' to solve the top defects, and thus ensuring the vendor experience. More than likely you will need to use your influence and negotiation skills to ensure a successful outcome. Moreover, you will be expected to help improve our process and participate or eventually lead projects.

A day in the life
You will work with a portfolio of vendors over the course of several months to:
Prepare and analyze account reconciliation
Deep dive the causes leading to payment delay or shortages using all available tools
Drive vendor discussions on vendor defect reduction
Prepare financial analysis
Lead vendor negotiations leading to win/win outcome
Lead or participate on projects or initiatives to improve our processes, or way of work

About the team
You will be the Account Manager to support the Turkish marketplace, joining AM's supporting France, Italy and Spain. You will support Turkish vendors, as well as PanEU vendors.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Experience in Finance (Accounts payable, Accounts receivable, etc) or Supply chain or Logistics field
Minimum of 4 years of experience in the field (Finance, AP, AR, Supply Chain, Logistics)
Excellent language skills - English and Turkish, additional languages are welcomed.
Ability to communicate and present complex analysis/data clearly and concisely
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment
Experience in project management
Analytical skills with the ability to get into the detail, while also seeing and understanding the bigger picture
Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOK UP, HLOOK UP, filters, basic functions, tables)

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience in communication with external customers/suppliers
Experience with Oracle Financials is an advantage
SQL skills
