Job description, responsibilities and duties
Our multicultural Payroll team is looking for an experienced leader to drive our growing and enthusiastic team of up to 8 payroll analysts based in Bratislava. The team does outsourced payroll services for Amazon employees from Europe and Middle East countries.
Responsibilities:
- Set up team and individual goals to meet our ultimate payroll strategy: “Pay Employees accurately and on time with the highest level of controllership and compliance, at the lowest cost to Amazon”
- Ensure sustainability of processes set up in fast-growing environment
- Accommodate daily operational tasks with participation in projects driven by other stakeholders (compliance teams
- Monitoring payroll and other 3rd party vendors KPIs, results and raising respective concerns to the higher management
- Cooperation with internal stakeholders – HR, HR Services, Payroll Academy
- Being a supportive and inspirational leader for the direct reports

- 3+ years’ experience managing payroll/ accounting teams
- Ability to build, inspire and motivate the teams to raise the bar
- Able to implement and execute the defined payroll strategy
- Fluent English
- Other language skill is advantage (Spanish, Italian, Polish)
- Strong people management skills
- Ability to meet tight deadlines
Preferred Qualifications
- Payroll Experience
- Experience with working on improvement and transition projects
