Manager business analytics

The role:

An opportunity has now arisen for the above vacancy based ideally in Trnava, Slovakia or Poznan, Poland.

The main role is to support financial activities but primarily focusing on pricing and capacity utilization analysis.

Responsibilities:

•  Oversee the development of CarbSol EMEA business analytics capabilities
•  Develop pricing analytics tools to enhance margins including pareto distributions, discount strategies studies
•  Develop logistic optimization tools for efficient delivery and pricing of logistics
•  Develop supply chain tools to better manage production scheduling and inventory cost management
•  Develop tools to improve product allocation at plants for maximizing margin thorough cost and capacity analysis
•  Support finance analysis projects including capex portfolio prioritization, commodity volatility analysis for hedging, @risk modelling for projects and budgeting

Requirements:

•  Major or master’s degree in Business Analytics, Econometrics, Statistics & Math or Engineering
•  Very strong computational background
•  Specific skills in database/SQL programming, linear and non-linear programming, statistical modelling a plus combined
•  Familiarity with SAP modelling capabilities and database extraction
• 3-5 years experience in applying mathematical modelling to business problems and/or experience in business ideally in pricing analytics
