For our Business Center in Bratislava (Slovakia) we are currently seeking to recruit a

Project Financial Manager - Finance Excellence

This position is responsible for project management from idea phase through implementation, delivering measurable improvements toward Finance Excellence. Finance Excellence is the pursuit of optimal process capabilities through organizational alignment, and efficient execution based on process standardization and automation. This position has global scope, requiring the coordination with Business operating units, Central Functions, Global Business Services (GBS) and Global Process Owners (GPOs). Projects cover multiple finance cycles (PTP, OTC, RTR) and the processes and technologies related to transactional accounting, controlling and compliance. Projects are prioritized based on cost/benefit analysis, with input from the business strategy, benchmark data, and the voice of Customer. This role is expected to enhance the continuous improvement (CI) culture across Adient finance functions, based on sound problem solving methodologies.

Your responsibilities:

As a part of Finance Excellence team, maintain project list and pipeline of future projects
Manage multiple cross functional projects, with dependencies from various functions, including GBS, Business operations, Statutory, Tax, Legal, IT, external parties, etc.
Identify and enable CI opportunities related to various financial processes. This will require effective partnering with IT teams for the development of automation solutions
Coordination of Data Analytics and Continuous Improvement activities to establish analytical framework to measure process effectiveness and efficiency, with a focus on reducing complexity
Work with GBS and business teams, GPOs, SMEs and GPOs to collect, clarify, and translate business requirements into actionable improvement projects
Drive alignment, improvement, global standardization and automation of (manual) transactions/processes where possible
Establish tracking mechanisms to measure efficiencies
Actively support appropriate change management processes to ensure successful implementation of process changes/improvements
Provide regular status reporting of ongoing initiatives and projects to defined stakeholders and GBS management team

Your qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in finance/accounting and/or Business Administration, Master’s degree desirable
Minimum 7 years of experience
Strong project management skills, including experience leading global scale projects
Outstanding communication and presentation skills, verbal and written
English Language – Advanced (C1)
Deep knowledge of transactional finance processes in a global environment
Ability to drive diverse and cross-functional teams, across regional and business functions, to monitor progress and ensure project completion
Microsoft Excel, HFM and SAP systems advanced knowledge
Analytical mind set – multi cultural exposure
Excellent organizational skills
Critical thinking and problem-solving skills, advocate of problem solving methodology
