Job description, responsibilities and duties:
Is responsible to fulfill the quality related deliverables in accordance to PLUS.
In addition to PLUS he/she has to fulfil customer specific requirements, related to quality.
Overall, the employee is together with the SDT responsible to reach customer
requirements and expectations.
Plan, organize and implement preventive actions in the projects, in accordance with the customer and Adient requirements (Planning/Balance)
Communicate with customer for Quality related issues and transfer the customer requirements/information’s to all
SDT members (Customer Liaison)
Coordinate and lead Quality relevant activities in the program (Coordination)
Update and maintain Quality relevant documents (Documentation)
Participate in workgroups (e.g. DFMEA, PFMEA, DFAM, etc.) to ensure the quality input (Information)
Continue communication with all relevant departments (e.g. SDT, Engineering, Plant Quality, etc.) and
therefore the responsibility to coordinate corrective actions in case of product deviations
(Communication/Corrective Action)
Support the launch activities physically in the JIT plant and at customer (Execution)
Regular reporting of the APQP Status in the program, including customer specific reports (Reporting)
Apply and develop BOS (Management System)
Ensure that all program relevant APQP activities at the supplier base (internal, external and directed) are executed by the responsible SAQE (Coordination)
Interface SAQEs / SDT / Customer (Communication)
Requirements:
Universal degree or adequate education
Minimum 3 years of working experience on quality related activities in a development and/or production Automotive environment
Experience with OEM’s and/or Supplier
(Not mandatory, but highly appreciated), experience in seating and/or with PSA
Trained in standards for Quality Management Systems (QMS), ex: QS-9000, VDA 6.1, IATF 19949
Application of QMS tools and techniques : APQP, FMEA, Inspection planning, SPC, DOE
Experience in the automotive industry
Knowledge in PC software applications (Microsoft Office)
English - fluent
*German – advantage (not mandatory)
