Job description, responsibilities and duties
SAP
Key contact point for all Finance functions located in Europe, South America and North America on all SAP questions
Cooperation on SAP system changes with the competency center / IT
Month-end close SAP coordination, including closing/opening periods, correction of kickouts, platform allocations (running and managing cycles) and direct resolution of any issues that come up during the close. Joint responsibility for any SAP or month-end closing questions coming from SAP plants
Providing ad-hoc analysis of SAP transaction data for any kind of reports
Developing SAP queries (such as mass changes of documents or master data; mass uploads/downloads to or from SAP)
Reviewing SAP standard reports used by Finance functions; escalation of standard reports that do not run properly
Providing SAP training to central functions and plants
Special analysis of segregation of duties (SOD) and IC inventory gain elimination
Improvements on process and also application level (mostly in VBA)
Project management
HFM
Key contact point for all HFM/FDM queries, end user support
Managing SAP to HFM uploads - scheduling of loads, checking, validations, kickouts identification in SAPs and solution
Genesis SAP to HFM mapping maintenance
HFM or MEC validations and ensuring proper consolidation process
FDM uploads of certain vouchers/entities during MEC, especially those requirring special attention
Coordination of HFM changes with BU process leads and HFM COE
Providing of HFM/FDM trainings in BBC or in the region
Proactively identifying gaps in the system for improved performance
* Special projects
