Job description, responsibilities and duties
We are looking for Translation Specialists (from German to Polish) for our big and international client.
If you would like to work in a multicultural team of translators, proofreaders and outsourcing specialists, you are passionate about translations and you are motivated linguist, send us your CV in ENGLISH!
What would you do:
• Provide manual translation during the launch phase of German to Polish translation
• Post-edit machine translations to improve the website information and increase the product availability
• Ensure machine-translation engine training support, its improvement and development to prepare for the transition to post-editing
• Proofread/review work of colleagues/freelance translators/external vendors, provide feedback and advice/coaching where necessary and adhere to customer’s and company’s standards
• Monitor quality progress and investigate quality variations, develop and perform quality improvement initiatives in cooperation with other internal teams
• Assess output and provide linguistic feedback to control and improve machine translation engines’ quality
• Translate product attributes and work on other human translation projects
• Possibility to get involved in other than linguistic tasks (e. g. hiring, training, technical/business support, project management, etc.)
