Chief Accountant

We are looking for a new senior colleague for our internal finance department.

Main responsibilities:
• Leading small team of accountants
• Strong knowledge of local accounting principles and US GAAP / IFRS as well as tax legislation of Slovakia
• Preparation and administration of tax declarations (VAT, CIT, withholding tax, etc.)
• Communication with banks and tax authority, statistical authority, auditors, and financial institutions
• Supporting of audits – internal and external
• Cooperation with payroll and providing support to branches
• Responsibility for correct, complex and on-time monthly, quarterly and yearly closing from accounting point of view
• Active role in analyzing and improving of financial processes
• Keeper of general ledger
• Responsibility for BS reconciliation
• Preparation of accounting journals for monthly and yearly closing
• Accounting for accruals, provisions and contingencies
