Launch quality engineer

- Role model for ‘Safety and Customer 1st’ mindset within the team at all times.
- Lead the set-up / ensure readiness, of a new batch and hold process to support launch activity, in terms of process layout, flow, facilities and labour requirements and to project manage the introduction / commissioning, of this new process.
- Ensure all Batch and Hold WES’s (with OK/NOK standards for cosmetic and fModel are comunctional new content) aligned to the VQS pleted on time and ensure the labour is in place/people trained; to gate all new launch content robustly and protect KPI “ WCPA Score Card Targets”
- Develop and deploy BBAH Team Score card Process. Inc KPI Creation and reporting format. - Lead standardised inspection Process readiness for ‘TT’ and ‘PP’ launch builds and ensuring all SIP checks are handed over to current car Plant Quality Team by end of ‘PP’
- Responsible for the definition, coordination & delivery of robust training plans to production teams to ensure build process readiness to ensure the team is Pre Job-1 ready
- Responsible for co-ordination of pre-J#1 and launch budget plans to ensure all activities are funded and supported, both in the UK and Slovakia
- Responsible for tracking teams SQDCME performance via departmental scorecard / sufficiency plans and actively drive the teams to achieve individual & group targets
- Transition into Batch and Hold Supervisor role from ‘PP’ onwards to Job 1; on a 2/3 Shift basis, ensuring the smooth running of the process and that all RIS activity / EQI checks / validations, are being carried out to a high standard and batches that meet and exceed the WCPA Targets captured with the Launch Quality Score Card.
- Support and implement Integrated Production System standard procedures to ensure lean systems are integrated within the Manufacturing Operating System from vehicle launch
- Demonstrate a strong understanding and drive use of AIMS (Automated Issue Management System), LCCAR, 5F and other Practical Problem solving tools (e.g. Level 0, 8D, etc..) to track and solve build issues
- Prepare & present accurate and objective program status reports in support of Launch Manager’s requirements
