Junior DevOps System Engineer

Accenture Advanced Technology center is looking for technology enthusiasts ready for a challenging IT career and focus on application development, systems administration work, and software maintenance providing practical programming and technology implementation for business.
You could have the opportunity to help clients develop applications with a cloud-first, digital- first mindset, generate the next wave of innovative technology in our state-of-the-art Accenture Labs, and provide end-to-end service and project delivery across all our Accenture Delivery Center engagements using rapid development principles such as Agile and DevOps to make software faster, flexible and more liquid.

• Design and implement Software Defined Infrastructure using cloud standards and methodologies
• Implement elastic and server-less infrastructure using auto-scaling and lambda services
• Engineer solutions primary with Microsoft Azure services
• Develop and implement instrumentation for monitoring the health and availability of services including fault detection, alerting, triage, and recovery (automated and manual)
• Work with state of the art tools such as VSTS, Azure Resource Management, PowerShell DSC
• Work in conjunction with IT, engineering, and business groups to understand functionality, scalability, performance and integration requirements
• Possibility to work in a team from Accenture Campus office based in Mlynska Dolina, Bratislava

• Willing to learn DevOps concepts – continuous integration and delivery
• Basic understanding of Cloud concepts and Cloud platforms e.g.: Azure, AWS, Google Compute Engine
• Basic knowledge of development platforms .NET, Java, JavaScript
• Familiar with Microsoft Azure using key services like VM, Azure API or Cloud Services is a big advantage
• Familiar with tools e.g. TFS/VSTS, Jenkins, Git, Jira is a big advantage

Salary
Accenture offers a competitive compensation package. As required by the Slovak law we state, that the legal monthly minimum gross base pay starting from 1 150€ to 3 000€ depending on your professional and personal qualifications in the required areas.
