CATIA Design Engineer Senior

Your tasks

• Independent creation of designs, assembly drawings, single part drawings, bill of materials for new and series production products
• Execution of principle investigations for product improvements, realization of innovations, product related VA/VEs, creation of technical analysis to competitors products
• Perform technical calculations (strength, weight, package), simulations (kinematics, FEM Catia GPS) and organize complex technical calculations and interprete results
• Independent calculation of functional dimensions and tolerances in accordance with the results of testing and simulation
• Technical consultation for the project team in all development phases for technical changes (customer, supplier, Brose)
• Planning of tasks for self and technically supervised coworkers for on schedule completion of tasks in coordination with the team leader and project team
• Active participation in development team meetings (EAK), in formal design/engineering reviews (A-D Checklist, DFMEA, FEM meetings, specification review, etc), and formal reviews with test engineer and project engineer
• Active participation in APQP meetings with local suppliers and informal reviews with suppliers (built up external know how)

Your Profile

• CAD design 3D and 2D CATIA V5
• Geometric dimensioning and tolerance
• Basic design calculations of static and dynamic loads, deformation, pressure, calculations related to mechanisms, etc.
• Knowledge of automotive mechanisms
• Knowledge of metals, design and production of plastics
• Microsoft office tools
• English at B2 level
• Good communication and presentation skills

Sallary (brutto): from 1980 Eur/month
 

• The salary consists of a basic wage from 1800 EUR + 10% of the variable components, which are paid on the basis of an internal regulation.
• After fulfillment the internal criteria, there is possibility to obtain a summer and winter bonus (max. 2 x 700 Eur).
