Job description, responsibilities and duties
Join our young and dynamic team and take part in internal on-boarding training into insurance, reserving and statistical softwares (e.g SAS, Towers Watson softwares, VBA). You will be also involved in working groups with senior colleagues across the whole Zurich group.
As Reserving Analyst, your main responsibilities will involve:
• Assists in calculation of actuarial best estimate reserves (loss and premium), business planning, and profitability analyses for segments of insurance business.
• Support actuarial services related to Risk Based Capital model development, parameterisation and allocation activities to ensure we have appropriate capital in place given the risks.
• Calculate Technical Provisions and drive related Actuarial reporting activities
• Communicate analytical insights within the company
• Collaborate with various departments (underwriting, marketing, claims, IT etc.)

University education (Master's degree)
Language skills

As Reserving Analyst, your skills and experience will ideally include:
• Master's degree in Financial mathematics, Actuarial science, Statistics, Quantitative methods or some other numerical degree
• English – advanced, other languages are a plus
• Communicative, understanding the wider picture
• Creative, open minded and proactive approach
• Willing to embrace the actuarial career
