Our opportunity
The Accounting Specialist is responsible for the reconciliation and settlement process. The role ensures that reinsurance transactions are executed according to the Producing Countries’ requirements and according to the Zurich performance standards.
Your role will be:
• Timely deliver correct accounting data for Reinsurance,
• Handle technical accounting for International Programs,
• Handle mismatches between cedents and Reinsurers (intercompany as well as externally),
• Issue payment orders and clears open items with cash,
• Act as human interface between PC’s and Partners and guide partners on premium/invoicing related issues,
• Ensure high quality of information to all parties concerned and liaise closely with IP Operations and Network Management,
• Support Partner Relationship Management by maintaining close day to day contact with peers at the partner offices.

Requirements for the employee

English - Upper intermediate (B2)
Personality requirements and skills
• At least 2 years of experience in Accounting
• Business degree in business finance or equivalent
• Insurance or Reinsurance experience within international environment is welcomed
• Good accounting knowledge in respect of Sub-Ledger (SAP FSCD) and General-Ledger (SAP)
• Strong MS Excel knowledge
• Good verbal, written and presentation skills
• Good communication, organisational and analytical skills
• Highly motivated individual with a hunger to learn
• Business degree in business finance or equivalent
• Insurance or Reinsurance experience within international environment is welcomed
