A permanent role as a life actuarial analyst within the International Life Actuarial Reporting team for Zurich Insurance is offered.
In this role, you will work in close collaboration with the actuarial teams in Isle of Man and Switzerland. Your contribution will be fundamental to the continued success - and ambitious growth plans - of the Zurich International and Zurich Global Employee Benefits Solutions businesses, which together provide group life and disability protection to multinational clients in diverse locations across the globe.
This is an excellent opportunity to build expertise in IFRS reserving and economic valuation techniques, and gain experience of regulatory reporting under the different regimes in Switzerland, Luxembourg and Isle of Man. You will be a part of a team instrumental in maintaining robust, disciplined and efficient reporting and control processes as the foundation for business insight in a rapidly changing environment.
Your main responsibilities will be:
- Timely and accurate delivery of reserves on IFRS, local statutory and SST bases
- Calculating MCEV and NBV and carrying out supporting analyses
- Support the regular assumptions setting process
- Maintain, develop and improve actuarial reporting processes and related control environment
- Support other projects and investigations as driven by the needs of the business

- Part-qualified actuary. Motivated candidates with a master's degree in a numerate subject will also be considered

- Experience of reinsurance, risk analysis and pricing advantageous
