Supplier development engineer - commodity

•Responsible for driving Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP), Production Part Approval Process (PPAP), Analysis/Value Engineering (VA/VE) together with suppliers in order to support and fulfill the requirements of internal and external customers, all while ensuring local adherence to global quality objectives and corporate standards;
•Monitoring of the agreed KPI’s (Key Performance Indicators) and support the suppliers to achieve and maintain required quality and delivery targets;
•Participation in Supplier Development Projects as well as in Supplier Management Special Tasks - Process Audits (e.g. VDA 6.3), Continuous Improvement activities, Problem solving, etc.;
•Facilitate supplier escalation meetings, monitor supplier improvement activities, validate resolution of supplier performance issues and collaboration in interdisciplinary task force teams due to non-compliance with company quality policy as part of ZF Escalation Model Program;
