Job description, responsibilities and duties

As an IT administrator you are the main contact for our users. You will solve IT problems at our shared service center in Bratislava, as well as for other Offices & Techcenter in the EU region
 
Job objectives:
 

  • Tracking and processing support tickets until completion and updating them as needed
  • On-site support for employees and infrastructure in offices & techcenters within the EU (focus on Germany and Eastern Europe)
  • Support HP PCs, including asset management and the timely exchange of equipment
  • Diagnosis and solution of infrastructure problems, elaboration and implementation of corrective solutions
  • Support the network environment in cooperation with our technical support team and our service partners.
  • Supervision of the telephone system, including the creation and tracking of change requests
  • Focus on excellent customer service
  • Application of defined best practices and standards as well as documentation of processes
  • In addition to the above tasks, other activities and responsibilities can be defined individually

Personality requirements and skills

We are looking for analytical, responsible, problem solving person with strong customer service orientation and good communication skills, who is able to provide relevant information in a user-friendly non-technical language

Requirements:

  • Degree as a specialist in computer science, specialized in system integration or comparable training
  • At least 2 years of professional experience in a similar role
  • Good knowledge of spoken and written English
  • Very good knowledge of current Microsoft operating systems and standards.
  • Experienced in working with Windows servers and Active Directory structures.
  • Excellent customer service orientation.
  • Ability to communicate relevant information in a user-friendly language.
  • Efficient prioritization of the workload, even under high workload, as well as the ability to work independently.
  • Analytical thinking and problem solving competence
  • Experienced in working in a team-oriented environment.
  • Microsoft certifications would be an advantage
  • Driver license
  • Willing to travel (on occasional basis)
