Job description, responsibilities and duties
Typical responsibilities:
1. understanding of the given sub-domain, gathering and clarification of requirements and priorities, participating on design of the solution on the system specification level
2. producing of textual specification on system and task level
3. organizing reviews on the given topics, processing the feedback
4. communicating with the product owner about the status, results and open issues
5. participation on information exchange/telcos/visits with/to the customers, preparing presentations of the implemented features
6. participation on the documentation, release notes
7. general participation on the planning sessions and other regular team activities (retros, standup)
Tech stack used:
1. Enterprise Architect, UML
2. Jira
Requirements:
1. technical experience 2-5 years (programming or database development, etc.) and technical education
2. first hand analytical experience with user story approach and UML
3. ability to focus on user scenarios, understanding true customer needs and their prioritization
4. interest in agile approach to analysis
5. clear communication with the team members as well as with the product owner (based in Switzerland), firm handling of the given topic regarding reviews, open issues and early communication about them
6. fluent English – min. B2/C1 written, spoken
7. strong drive towards simplification of requirements and solution
8. balanced personal adaptability and initiative to improve the whole
9. goals driven team player
These can be an asset:
1. familiarity with banking or financial domain
2. ambition to supervise/support junior analysts
3. experience with working with geographically distributed teams
4. experience with identification of the given specification’s side effects to the existing functionality
