We are looking for a new colleague in the Release planning team who is going to be responsible for IT deployment management within bank or top priority projects.
Expectations and Responsibilities:
Expectations and Responsibilities:
- Manage all deployment activities in IT release management process (deployment of new system / application changes develop by internal or external partners)
- Create deployment plan for IT releases
- Manage deployments for W (UAT) environment, OSA (pre-production) environment and Production environment
- Evaluate production risks associated with production deployment activities
- Support QA testing over production environment
- Manage risks and resolves issues that affect release scope, schedule and quality
- Identify opportunities for the automation of existing deployment processes
- Accompany all new application architectures and deployments with contingency plans and deployment playbooks to execute in case of failure
- Prepare specialized deployment processes for requirements with specific delivery dates
- Prepare reports and reviews of deployment activities - deployment operations;
- Identify root cause for deployment-related downtime and participate in after-action reviews for production deployment activities
- Measure and monitor progress to ensure application releases are delivered on time and within budget, and that they meet or exceed expectations
- Communicate all key project plans, commitments, and changes including requirements, QA plans, schedule, and scope changes
- Weekly Release Reporting
- Communicate release details and schedules to the Business as required
- Lead and co-ordinate the Go-Live activities including the execution of the deployment Plans and checklists

- 2-6 years of previous release and/or project management experience, (Solid understanding of project management principles preferred)

- Advanced knowledge of software development lifecycle
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate cross-functional work teams toward task completion;
- Excellent presentation and communication skills
