Senior Software Engineer - Data, Tools and Automation

As Vendavo expands into new product and market segments, we are looking for candidates to join the Data, Tools and Automation team. The team designs and implements automation and tools to enable faster and consistent project deliveries across our solutions which serve extensive list of client companies. Our customers are some of the most influential F500 companies within Manufacturing, Wholesale Distribution, Packaged Goods, Energy and Utilities, and Technology verticals.

As a member of Data, Tools and Automation team, you will :

• Identify automation / standardization / tooling opportunities
• Propose and design automation / tooling to address the scenarios
• Implement a platform or contribute to an existing platform solving the identified scenarios
• Constantly be challenged on new tasks and new opportunities
• See the results and benefits your work contributes to the constant ongoing project deliveries
• Work with many roles across the company like Implementation and Data Engineers, Architects, Consultants, and Scientists to clarify requirements and find and deliver solutions to the business needs
• Peform analysis of existing processes and recommend improvements
• Follow and contribute to standards and best practices
• Create reusable components and tools to promote reduction of repetitive work

We are looking for a colleague who has:

• Java / Groovy expertise
• Spring / Spring Boot experience
• Microsoft.NET C# experience
• Big Data experience welcome
• Proficient in SQL (Either Oracle and/or PostgreSQL and/or MS SQL)
• Experience with process automation (Jenkins / CI / Docker etc)
• Experience with Azure / AWS service and Cloud concepts
• Fluent in using Linux system and versatile in various unix tools and languages
• Python experience a plus
• HTML5 / CSS / Sass
• Javascript stack / React experience
• Object and data modeling
• Experience with web applications and Java application servers
• Understanding of SAP ERP or other ERP database implementation / structures is a plus
• Willingness to travel for occasional business trips / trainings
