Information about the position
Job description, responsibilities and duties
On the basis of the technical-commercial set of requirements, elaborate proposals for design and operation of the control system in accordance with the applicable standards.
After approval of the proposal by the department manager, realization thereof (design / programming).
Maintaining and applying adjustments to previously developed solutions and standards.
Calculating controls for products for quotations.
The preparation of project-specific functional specifications based on flow sheets and functional requirements as drawn up by Project Engineering.
Offer the functional specifications to the Project Engineer and the Project Manager.
Specifying the (technical) PC system configuration including necessary hardware, software and communication connections.
Setting up the control system.
Preparation of user manuals.
The programming of PLCs, the adjustment of controllers, detectors and controllers.
Providing instructions to the fitter for the controls.
Commissioning the control on location at the customer or remotely, possibly with the support of the engineer on location.
Instructing / training customer service staff.
Trouble shooting at the customer or remotely.
Working within the planning (time and costs).
