Job description, responsibilities and duties

The Supply Chain & Procurement Manager will have the overall responsibility for all Supply Chain & strategic procurement activities in Slovakia consisting of the following Key Accountabilities:

• Responsibility for managing the Warehousing, Distribution and Returns processes for the Slovak operations including that of any local/ non-strategic repair partners.
• Responsibility for the day to day management of Slovakia’s Logistic service partners / insourced operation (including any local / non-strategic repair partners). To include; ensuring effective performance, day- to-day operational responsibility, management of evolving customer requirements.
• Responsibility for the supply chain planning team: Sales and Operation Planning process, supply planning, setup management in order to meet Key Financial metrics with optimal inventory level
• Goal to drive locally Sales & Operations Planning to an Integrated Business Planning in the coming next years.
• Act as a Supply Chain SME (Subject Matter Expert) participating and/or initiating communication between key stakeholders operationally as well as aligning and driving S&OP recommendations/decision making process
• Budget responsibility for Slovakia Logistics operations as well as CPE CAPEX
• Support the optimization and development of the operational and financial logistics services within Slovakia
• Support the Director, Logistics Operations CEE and Director, Supply Chain Planning CEE as a key driver of change within the business
• Ensure all Supply Chain KPI are met for the group (including but not limited to Inventory value, forecast accuracy Stock turn and CIP values)
• Local project participation, input and, where required, ownership
• Responsible for the leadership and development of the local Supply Chain team. Coordinate, plan and ensure the workload capacity and availability of resources within the team.
• Provide and support operational requirements for any IT system designs for supporting planning & logistics processes within Slovakia logistics operations and 3rd party LSPs.

Requirements for the employee

Candidates with education suit the position

University education (Bachelor's degree)
University education (Master's degree)

Language skills

Slovak - Proficiency (C2) and English - Upper intermediate (B2)

Driving licence

B

Personality requirements and skills

• Understanding of warehousing management, transport management, risk management and sustainability (preferably technology focused)
• Experience in the management of 3PL providers and supplier relationship management
• System and data management oriented, attention to details
• Knowledge of ERP, Planning, Logistics, Purchasing systems and software solutions & enabling technology
• Excellent communication and cross functional cooperation skills, open to new ideas
• Experience in management of procurement activities in an international business environment
• Experience in employee engagement principles, managing change, budget execution, productivity and quality improvement methods at a tactical level
• Excellent problem solving, decision making, team work and collaboration capabilities with proven record of delivering in virtual and matrix environments.
• Ability to demonstrate leadership capabilities in line with company objectives and values.
