Lean Six Sigma Specialist

This role is to create the global central Continuous improvement team that will support the Convatec Lean Six sigma initiative in education, coaching, training and ultimately driving cost reductions and improvement in margins.

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Achieves annual SMART goals that are communicated each year by Global organization
• Provides mentoring and coaching to assigned Plant Lean Six Sigma Black Belts, Green Belts or other personnel as part of their project management and personal development
• Verifies that DMAIC, and Lean methodologies and tools are being properly applied to projects
• Consults on projects with regard to project direction and quality improvement opportunities and suitability as a Six Sigma project
• Works with plant and regional leadership to ensure Continuous Improvement goals are being met. Helps plant team identify opportunities through data analysis, Plant deep dives and /or workshops
• Coaches Lean Six Sigma Black Belts and leadership in how to convert gaps in performance and Material variances into process improvement projects with breakthrough results
• Conducts training and education for Lean Six Sigma Black Belts, Green Belts, supports and develops the Convatec training materials
• Shares “best practices” throughout the Company and monitors projects for opportunities for cross-collaboration
• May lead projects independently or with the help of a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt(s)
• Collaborates with process owners, Plant Leadership and other Regional Leads to develop and evolve Six Sigma, Lean training materials, classes, workshops, tools and methods
