Information about the position
Job description, responsibilities and duties
You will be responsible for BI solutions, ETL development, deployment and monitoring. You will work with the team designing the ETL process, exception handling and ETL processes scheduling, definition and setup.
Your tasks will be:
• Designing, development and test ETL processes
• Deployment packages preparation
• Optimize runtimes of existing ETL processes and new programs to fit in a desired time frame
• Effort estimation for assigned tasks and participation on the DWH and BI releases planning
• Provision of support to test teams in their work by fixing and solving bugs
• Creation and maintain proper technical documentation to ensure the quality of the software
• Organizing team resources, prioritize, assign and monitor individual activities to consistently meet or exceed delivery objectives within designated project time lines
• Assuring DWH and BI agreed releases for the solution
• Provision of direct guideline, assessment and training for ETL developers and lead a small team of developers

Personality requirements and skills
• Several years of experience in design, development, modification and testing of ETL processes for DWH and BI solutions
• Very good knowledge of PL/SQL
• 5 or more years of software development experience with Oracle databases
• Experience in measuring and tuning the performance of DWH and BI solutions code
• Fluent English - both verbal and written communication
• Experience with any ETL tool is an advantage (Informatica PowerCenter, ODI or similar)
• Very good knowledge of PL/SQL
