UNIQA Group, one of the best branded Insurance Groups operating in CEE, is looking for motivated people supporting the Actuarial Non-Life team in the recently founded Actuarial Hub UNIQA 4WARD in Bratislava. The primary focus of the open position is the evaluation and monitoring of insurance portfolios as well as the implementation of Group wide standards with a special focus on claims reserving and risk evaluation. You will work closely together with the Group Actuarial Non-Life team in Vienna.
To support our young and motivated team in various tasks during the start-up phase, we are searching for an ambitious, communicative and service-oriented mathematician with a sound knowledge in insurance mathematics/statistics.
You can expect a sound on-the-job training within the Group, with focus on different actuarial practice areas. Also we are offering personal development and a state of the art working environment.
Your Tasks and Responsibilities:
• Collaboration in Group projects regarding modeling techniques as a Group standard
• Collaboration and implementation of Group standards in the subsidiaries
• Further development of existing tools & templates (Excel, vba and SAS) with a special focus on IFRS (17) accounting and Solvency 2
• Support in the modelling process
• Know-How transfer & training within the Group
