We offer an innovative opportunity to become a member of our UNIQuants which is a team that is responsible for a wide range of actuarial and risk management tasks in the insurance business across the UNIQA Group. You will be part of a flexible team, which opens opportunities to take on dynamic, new business roles. You will work with leading data modelling software and drive innovation and efficiency in all our processes. Besides, you can look forward to continuous knowledge exchange with experts from international business units across the whole UNIQA Group.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Calculating the capital requirement based on group standards and ensuring compliance with specifics of local legislation and portfolios
- Playing a major role in calculation of SCR/ECR (regulatory and internal capital requirement)
- Participating in different tasks related to Partial Internal Model non-life, especially ensuring our reinsurance program is effective
- Preparing ad-hoc quantitative reports and capital impact assessments based on business needs
- Actively proposing measures to increase data quality with the required consistency (within Risk Management department and within the whole company)
- Cooperating closely with other units of the division in relation to capital calculations and reinsurance
Your skills & qualifications
- Position is suitable for fresh graduates
- Excellent communication and presentation skills in English
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Strong attention to detail
- Structured thinking and pro-active attitude
- Willingness to learn
The position is even more suitable for you if:
- You have an Actuarial science degree
- You have experience as an Actuary or Quantitative Risk Manager
- You have experience with Python
