We offer an innovative opportunity to become an intern in our UNIQuants which is a team that is responsible for a wide range of actuarial tasks in the insurance business across the UNIQA Group. The UNIQuants setup provides its members the unique chance to learn and get insights into both worlds of the actuarial field - Life and Non-life. You will be part of a flexible team, which opens opportunities to take on dynamic, new business roles. You will work with leading data modelling software and drive innovation and efficiency in all our processes. Besides, you can look forward to continuous knowledge exchange with experts from international business units across the whole UNIQA Group.
YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
Collaborate with experienced colleagues to develop and maintain codes for various actuarial processes, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in data processing.
Analyze data, perform risk assessments, and assist in developing actuarial models.
Utilize programming languages such as SAS to transition to a new database system.
Contribute to ongoing projects focused on automatization of various actuarial processes.
Participate in testing to ensure reliability of the implemented solutions.
Gain hands-on experience in various actuarial processes.
Your skills & qualifications
Good in programming language – SAS or VBA; familiarity with other programming languages is an advantage.
Strong knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel.
Fluent in English.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data.
Proactive, reliable team player with developed problem-solving skills.
Independent, customer-oriented, and self-reliant working style.
Prior experience in insurance is a plus.
