CAD Engineer

General mission :

• Is responsible for creation, issuing, storing and archiving drawings and technical documentation following project requirements defined by R&D project engineers

Main activities :

• Obtains requirements for drawing creation from R&D Project Engineers
• Creates and issues drawings and related technical documentation using available CAD Systems
• Checks conformity of the completed design with current drafting rules
• Assists with design reviews with project teams and R&D functions, implements corrections
• Distributes documents after approval, according to current procedures
• Ensures engineering changes, storage and archiving of all issued documents (drawings, distribution documents, technical Bill of Material - BoM) in agreement with the R+D Project Engineers
• Manages electronic exchange of documents with other R+D sites and external suppliers
• Advises on system compatibility issues, data management and security, and makes improvement suggestions
• Contributes to the development of the R+D department CAD organisation and procedures
