SUMMARY OF THE ROLE:

Reporting to the Sales Manager, the Technical Sales Expert contributes to the development (business, team, technical content, client relationship) of Technical Problem Solving (TPS) services in Slovakia (and Czech Republic). In this context, he/she participates in the sales process with the sales teams, bringing his/her technical expertise. He/she ensures the appropriate implementation of the missions/projects from an operational point of view and manages the teams reporting to him/her.

OVERALL RESPONSIBILITIES:

BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT OF TPS SERVICES:

• Participate and coordinate the different sales stages with sales team for the development of TPS services in the country, respond to requests from clients and sales team
• Initiate client meetings
• Development of business offerings, particularly with regards to TPS Services and create Technical (tailored solutions) and Commercial Offers;
• Identify new business opportunities by utilizing the market networking;
• Identify client needs and propose tailored fit solutions;
• Build relationships with clients and/or industrial ecosystem (e.g institution, association);
• Participate on marketing events to promote TPS services;
• Identify, propose and participate to the development of new services with high added value;

OPERATIONAL EXECUTION:

• Identify clients’ expectation, define the scope of the necessary project;
• Identify operational resources;
• Execute TPS projects as hands-on manager with allocated resources;
• Adapt global TPS service portfolio with the help of other colleagues;
• Lead and monitor project executions;
• Identify and document changes during the projects as necessary, validate the deliverables as necessary;
• Measure client satisfaction and react if deterioration is experienced;
• Follow up the activities to ensure the consistency of services delivered to our clients;
• Evaluate the projects and document lessons learned;
• Monitor and report on progress towards achievement of plans and strategies (business plan, sales plan and strategy);
• Track status of all projects (Project planning, Resource planning, Logistics arrangements, Project reporting, invoicing, payment from Client and Customer satisfaction feedback);

TEAM MANAGEMENT

• Manage the TPS Team (internal and external resources);
• Manage Project Team members allocated from internal or external resources
• Assign goals and evaluate the performance of the team;
• Contribute to build up a TPS Team and offer a recruitment plan when it is necessary;
• Ensure team members understand client needs and deliver the expected outcomes;
• Assign goals, tasks to project team members and ensure proper achievement
