Job description, responsibilities and duties
We are looking for self-motivated individuals who can excel in a fluid environment and who are excited about challenging projects, technologies and people. We need highly talented individuals who are able to think on their feet and offer unique perspectives as well as develop innovative solutions for our clients.
• Technical design of software solutions based on J2EE, Architectural and design patterns and best practices (with a focus on EJB, JMS, JPA, Spring and similar J2EE frameworks)
• Providing solutions designs and create technical specification and document these
• Giving guidance in implementation questions
• Reviewing Designs and Code, giving feedback, providing exemplary code and designs and alternative, robust and stable solutions
• Planning and Tracking of activities based on an agile approach in Jira

• Understand and challenge requirements and business engineers/analysts and their deliverables for the development team
• Hands-on expertise in some of the following technologies: Java/J2EE, including SOAP, EAI, Common frameworks such as Spring, Hibernate, etc. and Database technologies (Oracle, MySQL, JDBC, SQL, PL/SQL, stored procedures)
• Experience with application servers (JBoss; WebSphere etc...)
• Agile/Scrum experience is highly valued
• Experience in the digital industry (e-commerce, social media and mobile)
• Excellent communication & presentation skills
