Job description, responsibilities and duties

- Researching, selecting and buying commodities at the market for reasonable prices, negotiation with suppliers
- Researching new products at the market based on current and new projects. Following on time delivery, working with system and chasing up the orders, monitoring delivery times,
- Contact with suppliers on daily basis, getting price offers from suppliers, scheduling deliveries, discussing shortages and overstock parts,
- Inventory optimization, stock levels, monitoring, system settings
- Raising the orders in system, confirming the dates of delivery, following up action messages and at the same time bringing parts earlier or postponing them due to actual customers forecasts and demands
- Closely working with SCH Manager, other departments – project management, production and logistics - WHS
- Reporting to SCH Manager, management on status of the orders. Following up action plan set by manager.

This position reports directly to the Supply Chain Manager.
