Job description, responsibilities and duties
- Management of the delivery of services for our global travel agencies, airlines, car rentals and hotels
- Supplier Management - manages interpersonal relationship with supplier staff - uses program measurements and reporting to gain improvements
- Track cost savings on specific commodities - air, car, hotel, TMC as applicable
- Review of new products and tools offered by agencies
- Implementation of such tools as deemed appropriate in alignment with global travel buyer and manager
- Consolidation/ Reduction of vendors and spend that adhere to company policy
- As needed negotiate with travel suppliers to deliver savings & service improvements
