Job description, responsibilities and duties
Tachyum is searching for a Business Development Manager, based in Slovakia, Bratislava. We are looking for a passionate and driven Business Development professional to join our international Tachyum team. You will be responsible for developing business strategies to create market demand as well as evangelizing the use of Tachyum products and technologies to customers and partners.
What you’ll be doing:
» Build and boost customer relationships.
» Define business development plan.
» Increase client base.
» Write business proposals, negotiate with stakeholders.
» Be accountable for stakeholder relationship management.
» Understand the needs of your customers and respond effectively.
» Accurately forecast business within a committed timeline.
» Participate in coordination and implementation of marketing strategies.
» Represent the company at networking events, conferences, etc.
Required Experience and Skills:
» At least 5-7 years of experience in BD position.
» Have a good understanding of the businesses’ products, services and be able to advise others about them.
» Proficiency in English.
» Excellent communication, presentation and negotiations skills.
» Ability to adapt to a start-up fast paced dynamic environment.
» Willingness to travel.
Preferred Experience:
» Existing knowledge in relevant space would be highly desirable (large customers, hyperscale, public cloud, European Commission).
