Job description, responsibilities and duties

We are looking for a multi-skilled person to manage our small but growing development team in Bratislava. The team will work mainly on an up-to-date service (eshop) written in wordpress. They will need to understand the ideas of the London office (in terms of UI, UX), translating them into tasks and allocate them to the correct individual/s. They will need to understand all our codes and have knowledge or experience with technologies we use. They will also need to oversee technical testing and optimization.

Candidates with education suit the position

University education (Bachelor's degree)

Language skills

English - Advanced (C1)

Personality requirements and skills

Understanding or experience in the following (preferences not requirements)
- Frontend: Vue / React, jQuery, Scss, responsive design
- Backend: PHP, WordPress (advanced knowledge of plugins and themes creation)
- Database systems, SQL
- Ability to quickly learn new frameworks and APIs

More general skills (preferences not requirements)
- University education in IT
- Knowledge of modern web UX and UI and experience with responsive web
- Experience with analytical tools
- Experience with web application testing management (experience with JIRA is an advantage)
- Ability to think as customer and to bridge communication between them and developers
- Ability to propose enhancements to existing and new products
