Job description, responsibilities and duties

Join a team of cybersecurity professionals and help Swiss Re to fulfil its mission in making the world more resilient. As IT Service Engineer, you'll oversee and solve identity and access-related issues, conduct regular access reviews, and onboard/offboard customer identities. What's more, you'll be working in a hybrid setup, perfectly balancing work from home and the office premises.

About the team
The Security Team is the focal point for all security activities across Swiss Re. We are responsible for cybersecurity engineering and operations, governance, risk and compliance, and defining as well as advancing the company's security strategy. As a part of the Security Team, the User Access Operations team specialises on serving Swiss Re customers all over the world, covering end-to-end lifecycle processes for internal and external employees as well as clients. We're looking for a quick learner, passionate about communicating with our international clientele – one who'll make sure our clients' identities are set up correctly and securely.

In your role, you will…
-Support and solve all identity and access-related issues
-Conduct periodic access reviews
-Supervise customer life cycle (onboarding/offboarding)
-Maintain positive communication levels towards customers
-Work on innovative customer-centric projects
-Deliver outputs/tickets in a timely and qualitative manner – meeting service-level agreements
-Rely on instructions, pre-established guidelines, and procedures to perform tasks
-Contribute to defining new processes while adhering to controls

Personality requirements and skills

-Basic experience in Identity & Access Management and end-user support
-Ability to convey technical information to non-technical customers
-General IT knowledge (HOST, Windows, Active Directory, Network, command line)
-Basic ITIL knowledge (incidents, problem management, request fulfilment)
-Outgoing personality – willingness to cooperate and co-create with colleagues and partners
-Experience with Microsoft tools (World, Excel, Outlook)
-Good-to-excellent command of written and spoken English

Nice-to-have
-VBA or SQL knowledge
