About the role

• The reconciliation of the Legal Entity EVM financial results, analysing data, identifying key drivers and present EVM financials to CFO for approval
• Supporting the reconciliation process between different valuations: Economic Valuation EVM, Solvency II and GAAP reporting
• Preparing presentation package for internal reporting including Management Committee, Board of Directors etc. and external reporting
• Cooperation with various functions within Swiss Re Group, FP&A, Actuaries, Tax etc., across various levels of management
• Working closely with FP&A for setting up the Legal Entity Plan
• Ensuring compliance with the risk and control framework and audit requirements
• Engage with our finance peers to analyze the need and possibility of improving and automatize existing processes and systems
• Support the implementation of change requests starting with collecting requirements, support implementation, testing, roll out
• Participation in finance transformation projects e.g., migration to IFRS17, new EIOPA Taxonomy

About the team

The Corporate Solutions Carrier Analytics Team is responsible for supporting the European carrier reporting teams with analysis, reports, and accounting support according to Luxembourg statutory accounting policies and economic valuation principles for Swiss Re International SE. As a member of our team, you are responsible for the analysis of EVM statements in accordance with Swiss Re Group guidelines. You will also support legal entity capital and liquidity steering. You provide comprehensive analysis and commentaries with respect to reporting, monitoring and reconciliation activities according to management requirements. Further you ensure compliance with the risk and control framework and audit requirements.
