About the team
We are offering an exciting opportunity to become an integral part of the "Credit & Surety Digital Transformation Team", which is part of CorSo's "Innovation & Transformation" unit (CITO), whose vision is to transform commercial insurance and reimagine customer experience through innovative use of data and technology, empowerment and enablement of our people, and co-creation of innovative solutions with our customers and partners.
About the role
As Credit & Surety Requirements Engineer, you help defining and drive the execution of the strategic innovation agenda for the C&S unit globally.
Your responsibilities include:
- You understand today's and the potential future needs of our clients and you can translate them into new business opportunities
- You define a strategy and create a business case for new applications to be built, present such case to Project Steering Boards and secure approval
- You work with the C&S business team to understand their tech capabilities needs and translate them to business requirements for tech applications
- You define business requirements in a high level of detail (including business architecture, process maps, wireframes, data models, etc.) and work with developers team to bring them to life
- You engage with Platform Product Owners, Technology Leads, Business Process Managers, Business Architecture and the Data Office on the end-to-end consistency of system, process and information architecture
- Your prepare and diligently maintain the project documentation on the corporate Wiki
- You own support of one or more business applications in production, fronting user requests and addressing them, or triaging to development team for more difficult cases
- You lead the respective change management and roll out efforts
You will therefore significantly support the execution of the overall strategic direction of CorSo and you will be part of identifying, recommending and building alternative, potentially radical solutions to concrete business challenges that have the potential to create lasting competitive advantages for C&S.

Business technology/information management expertise:
- Several years of working experience as business requirements engineer or in similar roles
- Ability to build trusted relationships both in business function and IT
- Good understanding of Agile/Scrum framework
- Consulting experience is a plus
- Basic understanding of cloud architecture, front-end, data models and other basic tech topics
- Mastery of relevant tools and practices
- Highly proficient user of MS Power Point and MS Excel (required to prepare draft documents/take quality notes live in the meetings)
- Proficient in Confluence or other Wikis
- Proficient in Jira and MS DevOps Boards
- Proficient in Visio or other process mapping tools, good knowledge of BPMN
Basic understanding of financial services:
- Several years of working experience with financial services players
- Experience with insurance company is a plus
Fluent in English is a must, other languages are a plus.
