About the role

The Standard Business team has been established to bring simplicity and efficiency to our clients, intermediaries and colleagues through innovative use of data and technology. We believe that by creating standard products, we can meet clients' and intermediaries' needs better, while at the same time operate at a low expense ratio. Customers will experience products and a customer journey that is consistent, easier to understand and reliable.

As a Scrum master, you will play a key role in building global capabilities for CorSo's Standard Business.
You will be part of an incubator set up that is highly dynamic, entrepreneurial and cross functional; and will collaborate with colleagues from the Proposition team, Innovation & Transformation, Operations, IT and Products functions. In this role you will also act as a glue and synthesize deliverables from different functions to achieve a common vision and goal.

We are keen on hiring a candidate, who will have strong hands-on/delivery mindset to facilitate planning, track execution progress and remove impediments.
With ideal candidate this role will progress into Agile coach role and help us increase our agile team maturity.

Your key responsibilities include:

- Ensure all projects are delivered on time, on budget, and within scope, following an Agile project methodology
- Organize and facilitate meetings with functional representatives both with internal and external to team; working effectively across teams to ensure a smooth integration at all points in the process
- Establish and maintain project communication and set project quality and performance standards
- Troubleshoot with teams & people how to manage deliverables and themselves
- Foster teams' self-organisation, collaboration and sharing
- Apply innovative and creative thinking while dealing with challenges
- Drive the continuous improvement
- Create and maintain effective relationships with internal and external team members
- Collaborate with IT, capability build, underwriting, products, claims, business development and business services colleagues
- Develop, communicate and implement program and project risk, issue management plans and strategies

About you

- You have a minimum of 5 years of experience in insurance and/or technology industry
- In-depth knowledge of Scrum and implementation of Agile Methodologies in enterprise environments a plus
- Ability to shape strong presentations and narratives that influence and commit people to change
- You are a creative team-oriented self-starter with strong analytical skills, an entrepreneurial mindset and proven design-thinking skills
- You are able to navigate ambiguity and can work effectively in a changing and quickly evolving environment
- Experience facilitating brainstorming sessions is a plus
- Innovative, creative, excited to learn
- Patient, organized, very good project management skills
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- You have the ability to think out of the box and inspire others
