About the Role

An exciting opportunity has opened up for an experienced Finance Professional in the Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) team in iptiQ EMEA. Working closely with Accounting and Actuarial teams, amongst many others and exposure to senior stakeholders within our Business.

We are looking for a finance professional to help shape our tools and enable.

You will lead/supervise a small team responsible for end-to-end process management – from developing and optimizing financial models, and shaping reporting processes, to presenting results to management.

Your day-to-day activities will include:

• Build financial and data management tools that enable process automatization
• Coordinate the consolidation and reporting of financial results for the annual Plan, Forecasting and quarterly Actuals and Projection processes.
• Participate in distribution partner acquisition projects, translating commercial discussions into sound financial business cases
• Coordinate and support iptiQ EMEA Management team reporting
• Coordinate and support cohort analysis
• Work closely with risk management to prepare cash flow and liquidity sensitivity analysis
• Collaborate with sales and underwriting teams to establish automated performance reporting framework

Personality requirements and skills

About You

• You are a professionally qualified accountant or have an equivalent education (BA, MA) with a minimum of 5 years' experience in the industry,
• Previous experience managing/supervising small finance teams is a plus
• Programming capabilities and know-how in applying data analytics to financial modelling
• Strong analytical skills with an ability to work with data and systems to apply good business judgement as well as independently deliver timely and impactful outputs.
• Confident communication with senior stakeholders.
• Self-starter who is able conceptualize and execute projects without much input
• Teammate who is creative, open-minded to challenge the status-quo and strives for constant improvements
