Information about the position
Job description, responsibilities and duties
In your role as Data Catalog Strategy & Portfolio Manager you will get hands-on exposure to designing Swiss Re's data intelligence methodology, coordinating requests for new use cases and projects and working across all Swiss Re's Business Units and Group Functions to maximize value out of data and meta data. You will be part of a high visibility / high priority initiative with connections and touch points all over Swiss Re's data landscape.
Your responsibilities include:
• Manage product strategy and roadmap and ensure that it is aligned with stakeholders, and continually maintained up-to-date
• Connect with business and technical stakeholders to understand data & meta data landscape, data architecture and overall vision and objectives of the DataOne program
• Support identification, ideation, definition and execution of new data intelligence use cases across the Group
• Collaborate closely with Product Owner, Scrum Master and the development team in bringing the DataOne product forward
• Participate in the agile DataOne product development squad, e.g. Scrum standup meetings, Sprint Planning and Reviews, etc.
• Ensure that Swiss Re Data Governance principles and Data Management best practice can be reflected in DataOne
• Document Swiss Re configuration and implementation of the continuously evolving foundational DataOne meta data model
• Support the definition, development and execution of DataOne operations processes such as testing framework, quality assurance approach, metrics, release management, knowledge management
• Conduct sessions with Business Domains and Technical Experts to understand customized requirements to be implemented in DataOne
• Develop internal training and education material on all relevant levels, such as Data Citizens, Data Experts, DataOne Developers
• Foster a community of data intelligence experts, be the go-to person for collaboration on data intelligence topics, design and drive communication and awareness campaign for DataOne

DataOne is an initiative sponsored by Swiss Re's Chief Data Officer to make it easy to discover and understand Swiss Re's data landscape. It is a key element of Swiss Re's ambition to drive digital transformation and data foundation and for becoming a data-centric risk knowledge company. It is based on the Collibra platform and will be Swiss Re's tool to navigate its data landscape across the company, improve and ease data access and use, thereby maximising Swiss Re's data value potential.

DataOne is built, run, maintained and developed by an agile development squad with data management, governance and engineering experts from Swiss Re Group Data Services and from Business Domains across the organization.
