Job description, responsibilities and duties
Are you experienced in SAP general accounting, and do you want to be part of a team where we take care of the general accounting closing end to end?
In this position, you would be accountable for cost related accounting and reporting relating to assigned entities including provision of information to other areas of the Swiss Re Group for tax and regulatory purposes. This includes assistance with policy setting, process improvement, identification and implementation.
Key Tasks:
• Producing monthly/quarterly/annual accounts for assigned entities and branches
• Payroll, compensation and related benefits accounting
• Handle, or control, balance sheet reconciliation processes where not controlled by other Finance team
• Processing and overview of end to end intercompany recharge processing and related activity, i.e. accounting for intercompany recharges in and recharges out and International Assignee accounting
• Ensure the quarterly reporting of the lines of business assigned to you is delivered on time and with high quality
• Act as the interface between Finance team and rest of Group, e.g. Tax and Legal teams, Group Cost Management / Controlling, Group FP&A, wider business community for the respective branches / entities
We will support your ACCA and other financial qualifications.

• Proficient English written and spoken
