Job description, responsibilities and duties

We are looking for an agile, motivated and proactive personality who is ready to join our Triage Team in Bratislava as a Claims Triager! You will be responsible for indexing and distributing the incoming claims documents from our clients – cedant or brokers, to responsible team or person within 24 hours. You will look for opportunities within the core process to add new value of Swiss Re and external clients, and closely cooperate with our claims ops colleagues.

Your key responsibilities:
• Triaging Reinsurance Claims documents in accordance to standard operating procedures.
• Ensuring business deliverables are met (quality output within the turnaround times defined) through adequate understanding of basic Reinsurance Concepts and business tools and applications.
• Associating the Claim process documents with the firsthand information to enable Claims examiners for further processing.
• Identifying the reinsurance contracts OR existing claims using business applications.
• Maintain accuracy and quality parameters as defined by the process.
• Ensure adherence to process guidelines and also abide by special instructions set out by specific regions.


About the Team
The Triage Team is responsible to index the incoming documents to support other claims colleagues in the value chain of the company in prioritization, with the main common goal of supporting our clients by timely payments of claims and keeping the reserves on accurate level. All the incoming claims documents, from first advice of the claim until the last (closing) advice go through our hands.
All this is only possible through a good understanding of re-insurance concept and understanding of our clients.
