Job description, responsibilities and duties

About the Role
We are looking for candidates who will support Corporate Solutions underwriting units in their daily business tasks. Within a fast-paced environment, this role provides you with a chance to define your own decisions when dealing with complex underwriting tasks.

Core responsibilities:

- High level of interaction and coordination with team members
- Work closely with underwriters, experts and other departments in order to handle tasks on time with high quality
- Prioritize the workload in order to meet audit SLA and accuracy requirements
- Review, check and gather insurance and legal documentation and reflect corresponding terms and conditions into the systems
- Review insurance documentations for accuracy and completeness
- Create and maintain electronic records following established guidelines and processes
- Make sure the data entered have supporting documentation attached
- Maintain and update the risk information
- Accountable to deliver timely and accurate business processing also during peak times
- Involvement/ leading of the projects/ initiatives, trainings

Additional Responsibilities:

- Regularly monitor the contracts which will be due/ are due for processing
- Compile, sort, review and verify data accuracy using source documents, detect errors, and initiate correction while following-up with customer or process owner regarding any inconsistencies found.
- Enter and maintain information in systems and tools, including documents, process changes and associated open/completed tasks
- Follow-up on outstanding documents or items, per guidelines
- Perform assigned rule-based tasks following standard operating procedures
- Perform other position related tasks (e.g. participation in projects, initiatives, etc.) as instructed by Supervisor

Personality requirements and skills

About You
- Bachelor's Degree/Master's degree
- Knowledge and understanding of Re-/ Insurance business is a plus
- Proficient in English (reading, written and verbal);
- Other European language (at least ability to read and understand) is a major advantage (Italian, Spanish, Dutch, Nordic or any other untypical language is preferred)
- Profound computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office Package
- Awareness of administrative procedures and general economic principles
- Focus on details
- Ability to easily interpret the terms and conditions of the legal document
- Excellent reading comprehension, verbal and written communication skills
- Applies knowledge to technical and processing tasks through daily activities and responsibilities
- Ability to provide administrative and technical support for the respective business unit
- Ability to work both independently or collaboratively while establishing priorities; ability to handle multiple tasks in a rapidly evolving environment
- Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills and ability to establish and maintain effective working relations with people in a multi-cultural environment
